Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Structural Design Engineer to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering fully coordinated structural designs on a wide variety of projects, working alongside members of structures teams locally and nationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality structural designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities, architects, design teams, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop skills in the use of the latest design software, such as Tekla Structural Designer and Revit.
  • Assist in design reviews and verification checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Participate in site visits and surveys to gather data and inform design decisions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng) with experience in structural design.
  • Previous technical or industry experience is advantageous.
  • Commitment to achieving chartered status with IStructE or ICE.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Suitability for Security Clearance to permit working on Defence Projects.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
