We are currently seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant on behalf of a school based in the North East region. The successful candidate, whilst working under the supervision of a qualified teacher, must be able to work independently and provide support to small groups of children.

The role is full time, commencing ASAP with the potential of a longer term position. You will be required to support children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEND). The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children with SEND and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

The school caters for a mixed range of SEND needs. It is extremely welcoming and has great facilities to support its pupils. Knowledge of BSL/Makaton and/or experience with pupils with Speech, Language, and Communication difficulties is highly desirable.

  • Full-time role until July 2025
