Monitoring Project Officer

We're seeking an experienced Monitoring Project Officer to join our team in the Midlands and East of England region. As a key member of our internal consultancy, you'll work closely with regional archaeologists to develop and implement a digital model for monitoring and managing archaeological assets across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with regional archaeologists to recruit, train, and support teams of volunteers in monitoring and caring for historic environments.
* Manage and update the Historic Buildings Sites and Monuments Record (HBSMR) to produce maps and documentation for volunteer use.
* Analyze and prioritize data from monitoring work to inform conservation efforts.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Strong knowledge and experience with GIS and databases such as HBSMR and HER.
* Experience working with volunteers and building strong relationships within diverse teams.
* Skilled communicator with a flexible approach to problem-solving and negotiation.
* Proactive and organized, with experience managing projects and prioritizing tasks.
