Class Teacher - Special Needs School

Dunbar Education is seeking a skilled and compassionate Class Teacher to join our team at a special school in Reading. As a Class Teacher, you will lead a small class, typically with fewer than ten pupils, ensuring that each child receives tailored support suited to their unique needs.

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching children with special educational needs. They will be passionate about working in a special needs setting and committed to creating positive outcomes for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), moderate to severe learning difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

This is an incredible opportunity to design creative, multi-sensory lessons and witness the direct impact of your teaching on each child's development. You will work alongside a team of dedicated support staff, most of whom work one-to-one with pupils, allowing for highly individualized learning and progress.
