This is a unique opportunity for an exceptional Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team in Stafford. As the Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the practice while delivering hands-on, high-quality care.

About the Role:

  • Provide expert clinical care, including consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries.
  • Lead a collaborative team, working closely with the RVN to ensure high standards of care.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with pet owners and educate them on best practices for their pets' health.
  • Handle a diverse caseload, including routine check-ups, emergency care, and complex medical cases.
  • Be the go-to vet in the practice, making decisions and overseeing the day-to-day operations.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, ensuring their growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Registered Veterinary Surgeon (RCVS).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a qualified vet surgeon.
  • Comfortable working as the sole charge vet in a practice.
  • Strong communication skills, with a compassionate approach to both pets and pet owners.
  • Ability to work well within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
