About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Assessor to join our team in Southampton. As an experienced professional in Health and Social Care, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality assessments and training to learners, ensuring they meet their goals and achieve success.
  • Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted, meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for timely visits, quality paperwork, and general administration.
  • Organise and maintain accurate documentation on learners' progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them overcome barriers to learning.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA.
  • Experience of delivering Apprenticeships (previously as Frameworks and looking to return to assessing – or more recently assessed New Apprenticeship Standards) in Health and Social Care at Level 3.
  • OCCUPATIONAL COMPETENCY IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE (ELDERLY).
  • Confident delivery of Maths and English Functional Skills.
  • A good level of ICT skills.
  • A full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
