Glen Callum Associates, a leading international recruiter specializing in the automotive aftermarket, is seeking a dynamic and driven sales professional to join their successful sales team in the UK.

About the Role:

The Regional Sales Representative will support increasing market share in the UK, selling directly to garages and workshops in the East of England. This role requires a candidate with a background in the automotive aftermarket.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the sales team in achieving individual and team targets, utilizing a well-defined sales process, CRM software, regular training, and ongoing coaching.
  2. Manage the sales pipeline, following up on leads generated by the Marketing team, generating own leads by visiting garages and workshops in the sales territory.
  3. Conduct product demonstrations and manage the sales process from trial period to sign-up.
  4. Maintain accurate customer records on the company database (MS Dynamics).
  5. Attend automotive industry events and trade shows, using product knowledge and understanding of the vehicle repair industry to engage with customers.
  6. Work effectively with the wider sales team, marketing, customer support, and order processing, acting as a customer advisor and communicating product feedback.

Requirements:

  • Proven, successful experience in a direct/field sales role is essential.
  • Previous knowledge or experience of the automotive aftermarket is preferred.
  • A knowledge of diagnostic tools or automotive technology products is highly advantageous - other service, maintenance, and repair or bodyshop sales experience is also welcomed.
  • Comfortable doing product demonstrations with a laptop and experience of Microsoft Office.
