About the Team

The safeguarding team at the Nursing and Midwifery Council works collaboratively to protect the public and professionals within our processes. We support and guide colleagues with safeguarding expertise to ensure we maintain high standards.

About the Role

We are currently reviewing our safeguarding function and have undertaken internal and external reviews and audits on fitness to practice cases. Our goal is to ensure that our processes are robust and effective in safeguarding the public and professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the safeguarding team in maintaining high standards of safeguarding practice
  2. Contribute to the review and development of our safeguarding function
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that our processes are effective in safeguarding the public and professionals
