About the Role

We are seeking a senior safeguarding expert to join our team and contribute to the ambitious safeguarding improvement plan approved by the Executive Board. The successful candidate will support the Specialist Advisor for clinical and safeguarding in delivering the corporate objectives for safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior safeguarding expertise to support the delivery of the corporate objectives for safeguarding.
  • Work collaboratively with the safeguarding team to ensure the effective implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and review of safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure they are effective and up-to-date.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on safeguarding matters.
  • Collaborate with external partners to share best practice and improve safeguarding outcomes.
Requirements
  • Significant safeguarding experience and working knowledge of safeguarding legislation and practices.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and ability to give constructive challenge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
