Join Our Team as a Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS (Learning Disability)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at North East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS (Learning Disability), you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with mental health conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, depression, and eating disorders.

About the Role

As a Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS (Learning Disability), you will be a key member of our multidisciplinary team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing treatment for families, children, and adolescents with mental health issues and learning disabilities.
  • Assessing and consulting with families, children, and adolescents who present with mental health issues and learning disabilities.
  • Planning and coordinating mental health services for children, adolescents, and families.
  • Preparing professional assessments and reports on children and young people known to you.
  • Participating in medical audit and evaluation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • A valid UK driving license or evidence of proposed alternative.
