Assistant Psychologist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality mental health services to young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions for young people with mental health problems.
- Contribute to the assessment and formulation of individual cases, working closely with other team members.
- Collaborate with young people, their families, and carers to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Participate in research projects and service development initiatives to improve outcomes for young people.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including nursing, psychiatry, and social work teams.
Requirements
- Upper second-class honors degree in psychology or a related field.
- Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
- Experience working with people with mental health problems and/or other disabilities.
- High-level communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
