About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality mental health services to young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions for young people with mental health problems.
  • Contribute to the assessment and formulation of individual cases, working closely with other team members.
  • Collaborate with young people, their families, and carers to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Participate in research projects and service development initiatives to improve outcomes for young people.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including nursing, psychiatry, and social work teams.

Requirements

  • Upper second-class honors degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
  • Experience working with people with mental health problems and/or other disabilities.
  • High-level communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
