Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS (Learning Disability)

Medacs is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS (Learning Disability) to join our team at the Lenworth Clinic. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing treatment for families, children, and adolescents with mental health issues and learning disabilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat children and adolescents with mental health issues and learning disabilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers.
  • Participate in medical audits and evaluations.
Requirements:
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice.
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months.
  • Approved clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months.
  • Approved under S12 or able to achieve within 3 months.
  • Holds and will use a valid UK driving license or provides evidence of proposed alternative.
