We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Health and Social Care Assessor.

Location:

This role is based in Kent, with a requirement for flexibility in travel.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is £35,000 (OTE £40,000).

Job Type:

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity.

Essential Criteria:
  • A recognised Assessor award such as D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA is necessary.
  • Experience delivering Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or Level 5 is required.
  • OCCUPATIONAL COMPETENCY IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE IS ESSENTIAL.
  • Delivering Maths and English Functional Skills is also required.
  • Conducting online remote assessments and face-to-face visits as needed is essential.
  • Good ICT skills and a full, clean driving licence with vehicle use are necessary.
Duties include:
  • Assessing learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5.
  • Delivering training and supporting learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
  • Efficiently managing your diary for timely visits and reviews.
  • Maintaining documentation on learners' progress.
  • Supporting and motivating learners.
  • Adapting delivery to meet learner needs and overcoming barriers to learning.
