We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Bryn Mawr College. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing the business operations, finance, and human resources activities of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Finance and Accounting Administration: Oversee the financial management of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Human Resource and Payroll Administration: Manage the human resources function, including recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and payroll processing.
- Information Technology and Data Management: Ensure the effective use of technology to support business operations, including data management, software implementation, and technical support.
- Office, Facilities, Board and Events Management: Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the office, including facilities management, event planning, and board support.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, plus at least five years of work experience in a nonprofit setting.
- Strong leadership skills, with at least two years of experience managing and coordinating staff and projects.
- Bookkeeping and financial management skills, including a strong understanding of grant funding and its impact on departmental and organizational budgets.
- Human resource experience and payroll administration skills.
- Strong ability to manage projects, interface with internal staff and external vendors, and maintain a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for the humanities and personal values consistent with Bryn Mawr College's mission.
