About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EPR Integration Project Manager to join our team at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our EPR Programme team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our EPR integration project, ensuring seamless integration with our existing systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an EPR interface strategy that meets the needs of our organisation and stakeholders.
  • Lead a team of integration analysts and developers to design, build, and test EPR interfaces.
  • Collaborate with our EPR Programme Manager, UCLH, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure that all EPR interfaces are properly tested, validated, and documented.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our EPR supplier, UCLH, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on EPR integration to our clinical and operational teams.
  • Ensure that all EPR interfaces are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in EPR integration project management, with a strong understanding of EPR systems and interfaces.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical and operational teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of EPR integration standards, including HL7, XML, and SOAP.
  • Experience of working with EPR suppliers, such as Epic, and other healthcare technology vendors.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL and/or SIAM standards, with the ability to apply these principles in a real-world setting.
