We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our Refugee Support team based in Belfast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing our service, working closely with colleagues to maintain operations across the Belfast area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage our service, ensuring it meets the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
- Provide direct line management to the team, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Work closely with staff and volunteers to build their confidence in casework skills and project work.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement operational plans, ensuring effective service delivery.
- Manage budgets, monitor performance, and report on key metrics to inform decision-making.
- Develop and maintain internal and external partnerships to achieve agreed outcomes.
Requirements:
- Strong operational management skills, with experience delivering client-focused projects and activities to at-risk people with complex needs.
- Delivering casework to at-risk groups, with a deep understanding of rights, entitlements, and agencies in the field of asylum seekers, refugees, and/or other at-risk migrants.
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills, with experience liaising with external agencies frequently.
- Certain in your ability to prepare, manage, and monitor budgets and able to collate, interpret, and report on a range of management information.
- Competent people management skills, with the ability to get the best out of a team and work collaboratively to achieve operational plans.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to juggle your workload and prioritize responsibilities in line with business objectives.
