CPL are currently partnering with a leading player within the EV industry as they enter an exciting period of growth across Northern Ireland and ROI.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced, commercially minded Operations Manager ideally from an civil/ construction background.

As the Operations Manager, you will oversee all business operations which include, procurement, project management, installation, commissioning and maintenance.

Roles & responsibilities;


  • Manage relationships with key clients and external stakeholders, ensuring a high level of service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities within the operational area, with a particular focus on the growth within existing key clients.
  • Managing the operational purchasing requirements, including checking invoices and POs.
  • Creating and maintaining a system of payment in conjunction with the QS
  • Implementing and documenting procedures for continuous improvement.
  • Creating and monitoring operational projects and planning of daily operations, to ensure completion within cost and timescale.
  • Manage the Operational team, setting workloads to ensure departmental targets are met.
  • Provide exemplary customer service, and taking care of any concerns or complaints quickly and professionally in line with the quality management system.
  • Develop working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, and ensures operational department adheres to all regulations.
  • Manage Health and Safety compliance within the team in conjunction with the SHEQ Officer.


What we are looking for;


  • Ideally degree level qualification or equivalent
  • Significant experience in operational management
  • Strong track record of managing operational projects
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Experience of project, contract, and staff management as well as external stakeholder liaison and ability to network with key stakeholders
