Complaints Handler Opportunity

Huntswood is seeking a skilled Complaints Handler to join an exciting project for a large retail bank. As a Complaints Handler, you will provide a high-quality service to customers by resolving their complaints in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate customer complaints to a high level and communicate resolutions in a bespoke letter and over the telephone.
  • Use a dedicated complaint handling system to support delivery of the right outcome to customers.
  • Interrogate various systems to gather information to support decisions, raising suggestions for improving the customer journey.
  • Prepare bespoke letters to support clear and compliant communication with customers.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 12 months financial services complaint handling experience, including writing bespoke final response letters.
  • Business Banking product experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of FCA and FOS regulations surrounding complaints.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take and make calls to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience of providing feedback and guidance on the complaints process.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate in-house databases.
  • Good MS Office skills, particularly MS Word.
