Nottingham City Council is seeking a visionary leader to drive its next chapter of transformation and growth. As the Council embarks on a new era of ambition, we need someone with a strong track record of strategic leadership and delivering large-scale transformation.
Your Role in Our TransformationAs the Assistant Chief Executive, you will lead the Policy, Performance, and Communications Division, playing a pivotal role in delivering on the Council's bold ambitions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Corporate Programme Management function to ensure effective support, oversight, and delivery of the Council's transformation agenda
- Crafting strategies that are evidence-based, aligned with best practices, and embedded into our Strategic Council Plan and other key business plans
- Overseeing the Performance Management Framework and ensuring a culture of continuous improvement
- Communicating our actions transparently and proactively, fostering trust and collaboration with residents and stakeholders
You will be the driving force behind a culture of continuous improvement, from improving service delivery to enhancing how we engage with our community. Your passion for fostering innovation and driving change will be essential in spearheading transformational projects and change initiatives that impact every facet of the Council.
