Centre 404 is a leading provider of empowering, person-centred support services for individuals with learning disabilities. As a Support Worker in our Finding and Matching Service, you will play a key role in helping our service users enjoy equal rights, freedom, responsibilities, choices, and quality of life.


We are looking for a skilled and caring individual to join our team, someone who shares our vision of promoting the health and wellbeing of our service users. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to use their initiative, and have a strong commitment to supporting people with learning disabilities.


This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of service users, each with their own unique needs and goals. You will provide support with day-to-day aspects such as shopping, meals, personal care, and attending appointments, as well as with leisure, social, and physical activities.


Requirements:
  • Ability to work across London Boroughs of Islington, Camden, and Haringey
  • To support male and female service users across the Boroughs of Haringey, Islington, and Camden in accordance with Centre 404’s policies and procedures
  • Good communication skills, with ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, service users, carers, and professionals
  • Ability to implement safeguarding procedures, including reporting concerns and recording incidents
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use one’s initiative

Centre 404 offers a competitive salary of £11.44 per hour, plus benefits. We are committed to staff development and supervision, providing a detailed induction and ongoing training and support. All offers of employment are subject to an enhanced DBS check, proof of eligibility to work in the UK, and two satisfactory references.
