Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in identifying funding opportunities, developing tender preparation strategies, and overseeing quality tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities through local authority tenders and grant applications.
  • Develop and implement tender preparation strategies to ensure high-quality submissions.
  • Manage and oversee the tendering process, from initial research to submission and implementation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including academics and community leaders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement business development strategies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Business Development role or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of leading the tendering process and producing high-quality tenders.
  • Experience managing multiple tenders simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of competitive tendering and ability to gather intelligence from various sources.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
