The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator and Account Receivables Support to join our UK team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing logistics operations, managing inventory, and ensuring seamless supply chain management from Italy to the UK. You will work closely with our accounting team to ensure accurate account receivables and provide support to our sales team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor shipments of goods from Italy to the UK and perform goods receipts into our system.
  • Liaise with external logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and installation of products.
  • Manage customs documents for export and returns to Italy, collaborating with external partners.
  • Enter purchase orders into our system and provide support to the sales team.
  • Monitor inventories in warehouses and showrooms, ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Organize and manage periodic stock takes, ensuring physical counts match virtual locations.
  • Monitor and evaluate local UK logistics suppliers, managing operations directly.
  • Plan, organize, and execute logistics and supply chain processes for showrooms.
  • Provide cost and logistic/storage analysis, reviewing weekly and monthly invoices from suppliers.
  • Organize calls with clients to schedule deliveries, maintaining records of daily deliveries.
  • Ensure all shipped orders are billed, raising sales invoices and credit notes as needed.
  • Support the sales team in aligning sales orders with purchase orders to the factory.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or equivalent field.
  • At least 3-4 years of operations and accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with good knowledge of Excel.
  • Good English knowledge is mandatory, with Italian knowledge an advantage.
  • Able to work independently, with high accuracy and flexibility.
  • Self-starter with problem-solving mentality, confident in asking questions and seeking solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
