Job Title: Senior Director, Commercial DBS Leader

This is a key position within the Cytiva Bioprocess DBS team, located globally and working remotely. Our vision at Cytiva is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive DBS strategy to drive business growth and improvement across the global and regional Commercial leadership.
  • Utilize the 8 signs of leading with DBS to drive tangible improvement in CVD/KPIs across the global and regional Commercial leadership.
  • Design and execute impactful commercial kaizen events globally and regionally, ensuring compliance to the kaizen process and alignment with business priorities.
  • Partner with global and regional Commercial leadership to identify gaps in DBS capability/capacity and manage the Certified Practitioner funnel for Bioprocess Commercial.
  • Drive DBS Fundamentals capability and culture globally and into the regions, BUs, and functions through the DBS Fundamentals playbook assessment and subsequent DBS Plan.
  • Collaborate with Bioprocess Commercial L1 Leader and Bioprocess Marketing L1 Leader to own the monthly Commercial L2 Ops and Marketing L2 Ops meetings.
  • Sponsor new Commercial L1 and L2 leaders in DBS immersion, providing coaching and mentoring on DBS tools and connecting Bioprocess Commercial to additional resources.
Requirements:
  • BSc degree in Science, Strategic Management, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • Direct experience in working with commercial organizations to drive visibility and win-rate across end-markets.
  • People leadership experience with demonstrated success in driving results with DBS.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a general manager's point of view.
  • Direct experience in working with technology, product management, strategy, and business development organizations to drive innovation and competitive growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and implement a DBS roadmap for an operating business.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership with ability to work execute across boundaries and matrices.
