About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Functional Assessor. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of individuals to determine their functional capacity and make recommendations for disability benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals to determine their functional capacity
  • Make recommendations for disability benefits based on assessment findings
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with healthcare professionals, claimants, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines related to disability benefits
  • Meet productivity and quality standards for assessments and reporting
Requirements
  • At least one year of post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic
  • Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, etc.) with a valid PIN and no restrictions
  • Excellent observational and communication skills, with the ability to listen, empathize, and delve deeper
  • Ability to work efficiently, produce timely reports, and meet targets
  • Proficiency in IT, Microsoft Office, and remote system access
  • A valid driving license or access to transportation to attend the nearest assessment centre
