Advanced Clinical Lead in End-of-Life Care

We are seeking an Advanced Clinical Lead in End-of-Life Care to join our hospice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and experienced nurse to make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership and management to the CNS team, ensuring high standards of patient-centered care are consistently delivered.
About the RoleThe Hospice Service Director - Palliative Nursing will be responsible for leading and managing a team of clinical nurse specialists, fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment. You will work closely with healthcare partners, including primary care teams, social services, and specialist providers, to ensure integrated care delivery.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in managing clinical teams and a proven track record in implementing best practices in palliative care. They will also have strong knowledge of palliative care best practices, local and national guidelines, and the ability to implement these within a service.
- Provide strong leadership and management to the CNS team, ensuring high standards of patient-centered care are consistently delivered.
- Act as a key figure in the development and enhancement of palliative care services, driving innovation and ensuring services adhere to local and national guidelines.
- Serve as a role model for clinical and professional excellence, maintaining a balance between providing direct patient care and fulfilling your strategic responsibilities.
We offer a competitive salary range of £65,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include NHS pension, employee assistance programme, free onsite parking, and discount in our charity shops.
