Project Manager/Site ManagerAbout the Role

EA Associates is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing construction site activities, leading teams of directly employed and sub-contract labor, and ensuring the timely and quality delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all site-based construction activity on large-store-format refurbishments
  2. Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for workers
  3. Supervise and direct the construction team to ensure that the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  4. Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that the construction work meets the project specifications
  5. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, construction schedules, and budget reports
  6. Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment expenses, alongside a Quantity Surveyor
  7. Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to keep them informed about project progress and any issues that arise
  8. Resolve disputes and conflicts that may arise during the construction process
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Either formally qualified with a Degree, NVQ, or HNC in Construction Management and/or a suitable trade background
  2. Previous Site Management experience working for a main contractor with a project scope covering retail projects, specifically within grocery retailing or high street fashion retailing
  3. Experience working away from home is beneficial, but not essential for candidates who are willing
