As a Consultant Psychiatrist at Pinhoe View, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for managing complex cases and providing evidence-based treatment. You will work closely with nursing staff, OTs, psychologists, and social workers to deliver comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
We offer a competitive salary package, including an annual salary of £120,000, car allowance of £8,400, relocation assistance up to £8,000, and a Group Personal Pension Plan (GPPP) with pension contribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaison and collaborative working with care co-ordinators, commissioners, families, and carers
- Mental Health Act implementation and liaison with Ministry of Justice (if applicable)
- Multi-disciplinary, multi-agency, and partnership working
- Undertaking administrative duties associated with patient care, ensuring NHSE contractual obligations are met
- Maintaining professional registration with GMC and abiding by professional codes of conduct
- Maintaining Section 12(2) and approved clinician status
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Full GMC registration with license to practice
- MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by Royal College of Psychiatrists
- Able to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
- Hold Section 12(2) approval to work in England and Approved clinician status
- Experience in General Adult settings and working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in risk assessment and risk management
