Overview of the Job:
The Consultant Psychiatrist role at Elysium Healthcare involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care and treatment for up to 16 patients. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement individualized care plans, manage complex cases, and guide evidence-based treatments.

Main Responsibilities:
Our Consultant Psychiatrists are responsible for:
• Providing clinical leadership and direction to the multidisciplinary team
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences
• Managing complex cases and coordinating care delivery across different settings and services
• Guiding evidence-based treatment and therapies for patients with mental health conditions
• Collaborating with care co-ordinators, commissioners, families, and carers, and other services/agencies to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
• Maintaining professional registration with the General Medical Council and adhering to professional codes of conduct
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of policies and procedures

Benefits and Salary:
This role comes with a competitive salary of £145,000 per annum, depending on experience. Other benefits include a car allowance of £8,400 per year, relocation assistance of up to £8,000, and 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays and your birthday off. We also offer a Group Personal Pension Plan (GPPP) and pension contribution, life assurance, and medical indemnity cover. Additionally, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
