**Become a Dementia Companion and Make a Real Difference**

The Alzheimer's Society is seeking a caring and compassionate Dementia Companion to provide essential support to individuals affected by dementia in their local area. As a Dementia Companion, you will form a lasting bond with your matched companion, creating cherished moments and memories together.

Your role will involve visiting your companion on a regular basis, participating in activities that stimulate the mind and spark conversation, and providing emotional support when needed. By doing so, you will help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation, promoting overall well-being.

To succeed in this position, you should possess excellent communication skills, be patient and understanding, and have a genuine interest in working with people affected by dementia. A minimum age of 18 applies.

The estimated salary for this role is £14,000 - £17,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This is a part-time position requiring a weekly commitment of at least one hour.
