About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide high-level administrative support to our Paediatric management and SUDIC teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer corporate and departmental meetings, including scheduling, coordinating agendas, taking minutes, and following up actions.
  • Maintain the governance cycle of business and ensure scheduling into various committees.
  • Ensure the departmental business continuity plan is in place and kept up to date.
  • Provide, receive, and manage information electronically, verbally, or in writing, which may be of a confidential or sensitive nature.
  • Have a good working knowledge of existing Trust Administrative and Operational Policies and contribute to new ones as they are developed.
  • Answer telephone calls from the public and deal with face-to-face enquiries, ensuring they are dealt with in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Be confident in the use of all software packages used within the Trust and be willing to train others in its use.
Requirements
  • Proven and substantial administration experience.
  • Ability to use own initiative and adopt a flexible approach to work.
  • Experience as a Minute Taker and establishing and maintaining office systems.
  • Able to audio type and possess excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
