Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Lead to join our Paediatric Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering corporate and departmental meetings, including scheduling, coordinating agendas, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the governance cycle of business and ensure schedules are maintained for various committees.
- Ensure the departmental business continuity plan is in place and up to date.
- Provide, receive, and manage information electronically, verbally, or in writing, which may be of a confidential or sensitive nature.
- Communicate information from regulators or commissioners to the appropriate stakeholders within and outside the organization.
- Have a good working knowledge of existing Trust Administrative and Operational Policies and contribute to new ones as they are developed.
- Answer telephone calls from the public and deal with face-to-face enquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
- Be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and willing to train others in its use.
- Carry out any other tasks as required, commensurate with the grade of the post.
Requirements:
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Good working knowledge of Trust Administrative and Operational Policies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
