Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHSFT. As a key member of our paediatric surgical unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our young patients and their families.

About the Role

This is a permanent post requiring a flexible and passionate individual with excellent communication skills who considers themselves first and always the child and family advocate. You must be dynamic, enthusiastic, well organised and blend well with an excellent team of nursing, medical and theatre colleagues.

The successful candidate will have experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritising and delegating tasks effectively, and being confident in dealing with difficult situations. Acute hospital experience is also essential for this role.

What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including access to continued professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Nurse with a diploma/degree or relevant experience
  • Acute hospital experience
  • PILS/APLS/EPALS (desirable)
