About the Role

We are currently looking for a highly skilled Investment Operations Director to join our team in Edinburgh. As a seasoned professional with a strong background in middle office and/or back office operations, you will have expertise across various investment instruments, fund types, and products.

This is a full-time position, with a requirement for 3 days per week attendance at our Edinburgh office.

  • You will possess comprehensive knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • You will also have a strong ability to analyze data and identify trends, allowing you to provide valuable insights to management.
  • Furthermore, you will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide your team towards achieving shared goals.
Key Responsibilities

The Investment Operations Director will oversee the entire operations function, ensuring that all processes are efficient and compliant. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Leading the operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure high performance.
  • Implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Managing relationships with external service providers to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Monitoring KPIs to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
