About the Role

At BlackRock, Inc., we are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Derivatives Middle Office Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clients' investment data.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial instruments, particularly derivatives, and experience in reconciliations, exception management, and cash operations. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile complex financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies in cash and position data
  • Develop expertise in team control mechanisms and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure issues are addressed promptly
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial data analysis or middle office operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Salary Range:$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
