About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Management Operations Analyst to join our EMEA Portfolio Services Team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day running of the team, covering aspects such as Portfolio Control, Information Delivery, Operational Control Framework, and Data Management escalations. This includes ensuring all governance activities are carried out in accordance with standard operating control policy and handling market, internal, and client escalation queries in an accurate and timely manner.

The analyst will also provide analytical support for change request onboarding, ensuring that all aspects of the team's activities are considered as part of the process. Additionally, they will participate in BUAT/CUAT/Parallel testing and other specific tasks required ahead of a new conversion.

Responsibilities
  • Review accounts for issues associated with Portfolio Health using provided tools.
  • Provide support to the Portfolio Manager on operational issues, command and control over inquiries, escalations, and activities directly supporting the Front Office.
  • Act as the escalation contact for Client Middle Office Teams on complex queries/issues/breaks requiring end-to-end portfolio services support.
  • Process month-end close functions for assigned accounts, validating and signing off on balances, and reviewing non-base balances.
  • Identify data or account trends for discussion in group meetings.
  • Interact with all IMS teams (Accounting, Corporate Actions, Trading, Performance).
  • Remain familiar with backup procedures when system applications and/or transmission problems arise.
  • Build cooperative and professional internal/external relationships, achieving group and client goals, utilizing available resources throughout STT, not limited to IMS.
  • Cover various management functions and desk coverage when necessary.
  • Interact with clients and represent the Portfolio Services team in front of a client.
  • Prepare oversight reports for audit where applicable.
  • Act as the Governance lead for offshore locations where applicable.
  • Take ownership of issues to resolution, engaging teams as needed to gain consensus.
  • Identify and ensure resolution of data point issues.
  • Point of contact for security master issues and escalations.
