The Role:

As a Lead Engineer for Vehicle Closure Systems, you will be instrumental in our engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the design, development, and execution of closure systems for our groundbreaking vehicle models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for Design for Manufacture and Assembly for designated components, taking ownership of closure systems and attribute delivery.
  • Report to Principal Engineers overseeing the relevant commodities, preparing comprehensive project documentation.
  • Develop new methodologies and/or enhance processes, materials, or products.
  • Engineering accountability (including design and release) for complete vehicle body systems: Closures, Panels, Glazing, Sealing.
  • Ensure that designs comply with legal standards.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven and substantial experience in closure systems is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in closure systems.
  • Automotive industry experience is a must.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on achieving outstanding results.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and drive towards a unified objective.
