The Role:

As a Lead Engineer for Closure Systems, you will be instrumental in our engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include spearheading the design, development, and execution of closure systems for our cutting-edge vehicle models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Design for Manufacture and Assembly for assigned components, taking ownership of closure systems and ensuring attribute delivery.
  • Report to Principal Engineers overseeing relevant commodities, preparing comprehensive project documentation.
  • Innovate new techniques and/or enhance processes, materials, or products.
  • Hold engineering accountability (including design and release) for complete vehicle body systems: Closures, Panels, Glazing, Sealing.
  • Ensure that designs comply with legal standards.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven and substantial experience in closure systems is essential.
  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in closure systems.
  • Automotive industry experience is crucial.
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on achieving exceptional outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and drive towards a unified objective.
