About the Role

The Governors of The Oaks Primary School are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hard-working, dedicated, and professional individual to contribute to the school's success.

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact and be the face of The Oaks, providing administrative support to the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administration, organisational, and financial support to the school under the direction of senior staff.
  • Undertake general financial administration, including maintaining school stock and supplies.
  • Organise school trips and events, and welcome visitors to the school, ensuring health and safety and safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Respond to general day-to-day queries from staff, pupils, parents, and external visitors.
  • Make arrangements for external visitors, such as the school nurse and photographer, in liaison with the Headteacher/Senior Staff.
  • Assist with other aspects of general administration within the school.
  • Carry out playground duties and make a positive contribution to the school, supporting and promoting its ethos, aims, and development/improvement plan.
