AIS in Gloucester seeks a skilled Financial Transaction Coordinator for a temporary, three-month position on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will process financial transactions, manage ledger accounts, and perform various administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Verify and process payment vouchers to ensure accurate financial records
  2. Coordinate with employees to verify expense claims and prepare supporting documents
  3. Match invoices to purchase orders for smooth payment processing
  4. Review and reconcile bank statements to detect any discrepancies
  5. Oversee company credit card usage and ensure compliance with policies
  6. Conduct job costing exercises to analyze resource allocation and optimize efficiency
  7. Process supplier payments in a timely manner
  8. Respond to supplier inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise
  9. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and other documentation
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with M1 or Opera software for financial transaction processing
  • Familiarity with Compleat software for managing financial data
  • Ability to handle foreign currencies in payment processing
  • AAT qualification for advanced accounting knowledge

This is a full-time temporary role for three months, requiring adaptability in working hours based on business needs.
