Financial Transaction Coordinator

AIS in Gloucester seeks a skilled Financial Transaction Coordinator for a temporary, three-month position on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will process financial transactions, manage ledger accounts, and perform various administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and process payment vouchers to ensure accurate financial records
- Coordinate with employees to verify expense claims and prepare supporting documents
- Match invoices to purchase orders for smooth payment processing
- Review and reconcile bank statements to detect any discrepancies
- Oversee company credit card usage and ensure compliance with policies
- Conduct job costing exercises to analyze resource allocation and optimize efficiency
- Process supplier payments in a timely manner
- Respond to supplier inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and other documentation
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with M1 or Opera software for financial transaction processing
- Familiarity with Compleat software for managing financial data
- Ability to handle foreign currencies in payment processing
- AAT qualification for advanced accounting knowledge
This is a full-time temporary role for three months, requiring adaptability in working hours based on business needs.
