FBR Construction Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Manager to join our team in the Hampshire region.

About the Role:

We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in project surveying and financial control to undertake the following duties:

  • Prepare and submit valuations
  • Certify subcontract/supplier payments
  • Place subcontract orders
  • Prepare Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and accruals
  • Place material orders
  • Attend weekly internal coordination meetings
  • Prepare and issue monthly contractor reports
  • Create, manage and review construction programme
  • Collate RFIs and CSIs
  • Maintain health and safety standards
  • Review and obtain Temporary Works designs
  • Provide input to the weekly labour meeting
  • Manage all contract documents, including specifications, drawing and revisions

The ideal candidate will have a background in project management with experience of JCT contracts, excellent planning and organisational skills, and extensive experience in dealing with client professionals and subcontractors. They will also demonstrate excellent motivational and communication skills and be a true team player who is not afraid to get involved.
