We are seeking an experienced Global Aviation Logistics Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in the aviation, freight forwarding or travel industry and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
The role will involve managing all aspects of cargo charter flights, including responding to flight requests, communicating with clients, and sourcing suitable aircraft charter solutions.
The ideal candidate will be able to balance client needs with business objectives, negotiate with aircraft operators to procure the best value for clients, and ensure all contracts, insurance, and regulatory matters are accurate and compliant.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing all aspects of cargo charter flights
- Responding to flight requests and communicating with clients
- Negotiating with aircraft operators to procure the best value for clients
- Ensuring all contracts, insurance, and regulatory matters are accurate and compliant
- Participating in the team on-call flight tracking rotation
The Global Aviation Logistics Specialist will also be responsible for:
- Creatively identifying new business development areas, customers, and industry sectors
- Providing sales activity support for new business development
- Attending and representing the organization at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
