Daisy Nook Recruitment Ltd is proud to be working alongside a privately run residential home for children (8-17 years old), with homes based in the North of England.

The homes cater to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties and learning disabilities. Our client is seeking a Deputy Manager for one of their homes in Liverpool. The salary for this role is between £30,000 - £35,000, dependent on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Manager in providing positive leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring the welfare of the children is paramount and they achieve the best possible outcomes.Duties and Responsibilities
  • To support the Manager in ensuring all team members are compliant with Ofsted regulations.
  • To safeguard and promote the welfare and development of the children.
  • To support the team in ensuring the children's stay complies with the ethos of their care plan.
  • To ensure care plans are regularly reviewed by Key workers.
  • To attend training and ensure all staff attend required/relevant training.
Requirements
  • Positive experience working with children in a similar environment.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing, and to complete reports and care plans.
  • The ability to drive and evidence of a clean driving license.
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing children's Safeguarding Procedures.
  • Relevant Health and Social Care Qualification (minimum Level 3).
  • Commitment to Continuous Professional Development.
