Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at a privately run residential home for children (8-17 years old) in Liverpool and Sheffield.
The home provides a safe and supportive environment for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties and learning disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained.
The salary for this role is between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained
- Work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement care plans
- Contribute to the recruitment and training of new staff members
Requirements:
- Experience working in a residential care setting
- Qualifications in childcare or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
