Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Central Northampton

Salary: £28,000 to £30,000 - Dependent on experience

Type: Permanent - Full time Office Based

Working Hours: 9:00am - 17:30pm (Flexibility on this) - Monday to Friday - with a 1 hour lunch

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in Central Northampton. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the finance team and assisting with the preparation of monthly accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Support the finance team in ensuring the smooth running of the department
  • AAT Level 2 as a minimum is desirable or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification
  • Minimum 2 years credit control and sales ledger experience is essential for this role
