Procurement Sustainability Specialist Role Summary

  • Engage in impactful projects that promote sustainability, diversity, and operational efficiency across a global remit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Collaboration: Engage with global stakeholders, both internal and external, to champion vendor diversity, drive sustainability initiatives, and achieve net-zero targets.
  • Risk Management: Play a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating environmental and human rights risks within the supply chain. Update requirements documentation and craft comprehensive training materials.
  • Net Zero Initiatives: Lead the charge on sustainability projects by collecting and analysing data, implementing strategic plans, and reducing emissions across our operations and supply chains.
  • Sustainability Reporting: Oversee sustainability data management, benchmark performance metrics, and compile detailed reports to track and communicate progress towards our goals.

Requirements

  • Procurement: Exposure to managing supplier relationships, negotiations and supplier diversity is beneficial
  • Implementation Experience: Experience of embedding or implementing change / transformation policies is very beneficial
  • Self-Starter Mentality: Ability to work autonomously, showing a pro-active, 'do-er' mentality
  • Dynamic and Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a degree of ambiguity.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage relationships with local and global teams, especially in strategic sourcing, product finance, communications, and business functions.
