About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to our young patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the management team in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Plan and execute educational activities for children attending our full-day care services.
  • Maintain child-to-staff ratios and work within and follow Ofsted and Trust procedures and policies.
  • Provide appropriate play opportunities and interact positively with children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers and provide concise details about their child's day.

Person Specification

  • Good general level of education, including Maths and English.
  • NVQ level 2 in Childcare and Education.
  • Previous experience working in a setting with children under 5 years old.
