Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at First Steps Nursery, a purpose-built NHS nursery for staff working for East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare and education to our children.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Management team in delivering exceptional childcare and education services in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.
- Plan and execute educational activities for children attending our full-day care services, maintaining child-to-staff ratios and adhering to Ofsted and Trust procedures.
- Provide positive interactions with children, promoting their language and learning opportunities, and communicating effectively with parents/carers.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the nursery's behaviour management procedures are followed.

Person Specification- Good general level of education, including Maths and English.
- NVQ level 2 in Childcare and Education.
