About the Role


A dynamic and innovative role awaits an experienced Motor Vehicle professional at Leeds City College.


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated Motor Vehicle educator to join our expanding team. As a key member of our Motor Vehicle department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the industry.


The successful candidate will have a passion for Motor Vehicle and the ability to enthuse and motivate young technicians. Previous experience of working with young people would be advantageous. You must have the drive, determination, and desire to make a difference to young people's lives through education.


Responsibilities



  • Prepare and deliver high-quality Motor Vehicle lessons to students across all levels, from beginner to advanced.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and engaging teaching materials and resources.
  • Provide excellent pastoral support and guidance to students, ensuring their academic and personal well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective curriculum programs, ensuring they meet the needs of our students and the industry.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance student outcomes.

About You


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Motor Vehicle, with a relevant qualification or experience working in a similar role. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders. A flexible approach to working hours, including some evening work, is essential.
