We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tax professional to join our team on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake tax compliance work for clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tax returns and other compliance requirements.
- Perform corporate and sole trade tax checks as required, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize tax efficiency.
- Assist with ad-hoc project work, including forecasting personal tax payments for clients and developing internal systems to streamline tax processes.
- Support the tax department in meeting deadlines and ensuring timely payment reminders are sent to clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing expert tax advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals.
- Collaborate with the tax manager and client account managers to identify cross-selling opportunities and develop strategies to drive business growth.
This role is ideal for a candidate with a proven track record in an accountancy practice environment and a strong interest in personal tax. While ATT qualification is desirable, we are open to considering candidates with other relevant experience and qualifications.
