Establish a strong presence in our pharmacy team at Whitefriars Shopping Centre in Canterbury as a dedicated services pharmacist.

This exciting opportunity allows you to work within a busy, service-led store environment. Your key responsibilities include delivering enhanced services and pharmacy first.

A successful candidate will ideally hold an independent prescribing qualification, which will be fully utilized in-store. You will spend your day in consultation rooms supporting patients, diagnosing, and prescribing. You may also collaborate with local GPs to run clinics.

About the Role

As a pharmacist with The Boots Company PLC, you will provide exceptional customer and patient care by offering expert advice and reassurance. Key accountabilities include:

  • Executing the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and guidance.
  • Holding accountability for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy.
  • Developing the pharmacy capability of store teams.
  • Conducting continuous review through audit, observations, and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety.
  • Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services.

  • Being registered with a relevant pharmacy regulator.
  • Demonstrating high levels of professional expertise and respect from stakeholders, peers, patients, customers, and external professionals.
  • Having a passion for community pharmacy and delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Exhibiting a collaborative approach with a team-centered mindset.
  • Posessing excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and national/local services.
  • Being an effective communicator able to put people at ease and meet varied needs.
About Our Offer

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. A competitive package including benefits such as double-matched retirement savings, reimbursement of GPhC fees, indemnity insurance, social, financial, healthcare, and dental benefits, as well as an employee discount, is available.
